  * Description :

 > White-ashy hairy body, black face, hand and feet and long tail.

 * Food :

 > Vegatarian ( folowers, fruits, leaves, roots etc. of various plants ).

 * Distribution :

 > All over Gujrat. Relatively higher concentration in some cities, towns, villeges, Gir, nearby area of Vadodara, Kheda and parts of North Gujrat.

* Habitat : 

 > Open forests and eooded area, close to human habitation.  All habitats, insluding towns and cities.

 * behaviour :

 > Arboreal and diurnal.Stays in troops of 10 to 20 with an adult male as a leader of each troop. in morning and evening active for food. Rests during hot noon hours. Usuall seen on the fruit bearing trees. Quite distinct is the loud ' hoop' emitted when bounding from tree to tree or otherwise contentedly  occupied. Do not remain on ground for longer period. Most of the food is obtained from trees.
