> One of the smallest cats. Fawn grey from above the rufous ting of varying intensity and marked with rusty or brown lines or spots. Two black parallel line-like markings on head are distinctive.

>Small birds, reptiles,big in sects etc.

>Shoolpaneshwar sanctuary, South gujarat forest area, girnar and gir forests of chhota udepur,Ratanmahal, Kewadia forest and forests of dangs,

>Well-wooded forest areas. frequents open countryside,scruds and grassland.

>Least known, nocturnal, Terrestrial but up to some extent arboresl also.
