Head and neck gray.  Nice reddish brown color on the top and small dots in it.  The lower part is intio red.  Both sides of the neck are black and the back is also black with white dots, the tail is relatively long.  Feet red.  Males resemble females.  The sound is more like a trumpet or forest.

Pigeon is a beautiful bird of the family, it is known by many names in India such as Perki, Chitrak, Fakhta, Ghugh bird etc. But its most popular name is Fakhat, it comes out the sound of "Gho .. Ghu", that's why  It has also been named Ghughi Bird.  It is a beautiful and noisy bird.  Its scientific name is Streptopelia chinensis.  This beautiful bird is found on almost all the Indian subcontinent, some birds have been transported and left in Australia, New Zealand and America also, the number of this bird is increasing in these places too.

 Bird-breeding

 Fakht birds can lay eggs at any time of the year, its special breeding season is from September to December. Male fawns fight for territory, they have special fighting fowl birds go up 30 to 40 meters.  And then glide downwards, they also dance around the female by fluttering their neck like pigeons and keep their head up and down.

 The bird makes the nest very common, it uses straw. It builds its nest at any high place, both the male bird and the female hatch to feed the eggs and feed the children, this bird  Incubate eggs for two weeks. Fowl birds mainly like seeds and grains, domesticated birds should feed on different types of seeds and grains.

 Birds build their nests primarily around human settlements, on the roofs of houses, on trees, in gardens near water, around gardens, around fields, and on eucalyptus trees, and often build their nests.

 You can easily see the Fakhta or Ghugh bird on the edges of a park or city in the month of September to December, its loud sound of Ghu Ghu is heard far and wide which makes it easy to find.
