Indian Tree Pipit

 Indian Tree Pipit

Like Dangi Dhanchidi in appearance, its body is only brown instead of greenish in color.  Beak brown, legs pinkish.  Thin lines on the chest.  Both males and females are the same.  Found in low-bush Wagadau region.

Similar to Dang's Dhanchidi and Khetrau Dhanchidi.  When disturbed, it flies and sits on a tree.  The other sparrows come to the ground with less growth.  It helps to identify them differently.

Native to North Asia and Kashmir.  Comes in autumn, goes back in spring.  Winter visitor.  Extensive.
