It is about one meter high and weighs 100 kg.  The baby elephant is the largest baby animal ever born on this earth.  Yet as soon as he is born, he enters the race for survival.  This mate's gigantic cub has to get the strength to stand up immediately.  It is obtained from breast milk.  Then you have to cultivate the strength to walk with your flock in search of food and water.  If he cannot stay with the herd, the mother and other elephants stop to help him, but if he does not move despite many attempts, the herd leaves him and moves on.  The giant elephant has to constantly search for food to survive.  If the calf cannot walk with the herd, it falls alone.  Then hunger and thirst overwhelm it, or predators prey on it.
