Micro-camera in a robotic tortoise to learn strange things about turtles And the mic is set.  So that its action and sound can be recorded.  This technique revealed that every year thousands of olive ridley sea turtles come to the coast of Oceanal in Costa Rica to lay their eggs.  They travel about 100,000 miles.  When the tide recedes and the sea calms down, they dig a deep hole in a certain spot on the shore and lay their eggs in it to protect them from birds like vultures.  However, not all turtle eggs are safe.  E of turtles!  'It takes fifty days to be saved and groomed.  Then the cub comes out.
