● This green is one of the 10 species and species found in India.  Tapusiyu is very beautiful in appearance and also a little shy.


● This bird can be seen very closely when it is eating food.  These birds are also nicknamed the Red Lipstick Bird by ornithologists because of their red beaks.


● These birds prefer to live mainly in mountainous and forested areas.  According to a survey by the IUCN (International Union for Conservation of Nature), Leela Tapusia, who is sometimes seen in groups of 5-10 and sometimes 8-30, has been declared erroneous.


● At present these birds are found in good numbers in the mountainous areas of Mount Abu in Rajasthan.  


● Red Lipstick Bird's nest is found in hilly and forest areas before the arrival of monsoon.  They make nests, lay four to five eggs, and raise both male and female chicks.


● In food these birds are found eating small insects, grass seeds etc.  Lipstick Bird is quite different from male to female.  Male birds are more beautiful in appearance than female birds.  The female is light green in color.


● The Green Tapusyu is a perennial bird of our country, India.  Which is called Resident Bird in English.


● They are registered in the world living only in the states of Rajasthan, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh etc. of India.


● This is called skill.  The bird is green in Gujarati and green in English
